Toshiba Satellite X205 Laptop - Specially For Gamers


Toshiba’s newest notebook PC is dedicated for gaming community. Under its Satellite brand, “X205″ series gaming laptop boasts a DirectX10-capable 256MB nVidia GeForce 8600GT graphics engine in SLI mode, a wide 17-inch display, HDMI, HD-DVD drive, a built-in webcam, built-in Harman Kardon stereo speakers with subwoofer, and a host of connectivity options (WiFI, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, 56K modem). It is built on Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, providing support for fast and powerful Core 2 Duo processor.

Currently, there are two configurations under Satellite X250 series laptop: Satellite X205-SLI1 and the Satellite X205-SLI3.

The former, Satellite X205-SLI1, features an Intel Core 2 Duo T720 (2GHz) processor, a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 240GB of SATA HDD (2×120GB), and a 17-inch display with 1440×900 resolution. The price starts from $1,999. As for the latter, Satellite X205-SLI3, it is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz) processor, a 2GB of main memory, a 320GB of SATA hard drive (2×160GB), a 17-inch display with a resolution of 1680×1050, and an external USB HDTV tuner. This laptop costs $2,499.99 each.

Additionally, both configurations come with Flare Carmine lid texture and pre-loaded with Windows Vista Ultimate edition operating system.
